When preparing to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the 1969 moon landing, NASA discovered that the original moon landing videotapes had probably been erased. To recreate this historical footage, NASA and a Hollywood film restoration company took television video copies of what Apollo 11 beamed to Earth to recreate what had been lost.
It’s hard to imagine such precious video was lost, but I’m sure we’ve all done it! Not only that, but as our video tapes get older, stored away in a box somewhere, the quality is rapidly deteriorating!
Will you have a Hollywood film restoration company restore your family videos? Well, it would be a lot easier to let me help you by transferring them to DVD! You can have extra copies made and when you want to show old family movies for an anniversary or family event, you won’t be suffering the mistakes of NASA!
